Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu is a Canadian with Romanian heritage that is born in 1974. Since the beginning of the 21st century he is considered one of the best poker players in the world and he is also one of the youngest. For example, he was the youngest person ever to win a World Series of Poker bracelet, a record that he held until 2004. He was also named WSOP poker player of the Year 2004 and the WPT Player of the Year 2005. Since then he has, among other things, reached eleven final tables, won two WPT events and two more WSOP bracelets. Recently he has been holding competitions to find protégés that he has trained and sponsored. He has also written many articles for the CardPlayer Magazine and given lessons to celebrities like Tobey Maguire. Daniel Negreanu doesn’t consider his life to be very private, and speaks openly about his political opinions, whereabouts and activities. Negreanu is now signed with PokerStars and was named “Favourite Poker Player” at the Card Player Magazines Player of the Year Awards Gala. He currently resides in Las Vegas.
