Kathy Liebert
The professional poker player Kathy Liebert was born in Tennessee in 1967 but is raised in New York. Today she lives in Las Vegas, like many of her fellow poker pro’s. Her career within professional poker playing began when she started working as a prop player in Colorado. Being a prop player means that you have a responsibility to start poker games and keep them active. She won the first Party Poker Million event in 2002. She was also the first woman to win a tournament with the “modest” prize of $1,000,000 and she has a World Series of Poker bracelet. Though not having won the whole contest yet, she has made more than one final table of the World Poker Tour and she also reached the third place finish in Borgata Poker Open in 2005. She has won more prize money in open field tournaments than any other poker playing lady in history. Mrs Liebert has over $4,000,000 in live tournament winnings, which she invests in the stock market. She also has a blue belt in karate. To make a long story short, she is on top of her game…
